Our General Meeting Show and Share includes, but is not limited to, Guest Speakers, Trunk Shows, Members sharing their work, Helping Hands Quilts and completed Workshop projects.
Thank you to our Guest Speaker Dale McMillan. Dale is a Fibre Artist (Quilt Artists of Muskoka) who generously took us on a journey of her artistic quilt making. From that first tiny sewing machine costing a whopping $150 in today’s dollars, to a pictorial record of nature, family and memory. Active in SAQA Dale let us peek behind her curtain of process and expression in an up close and tactile manner, hard to resist. Many thanks also to Dale’s husband Reg, for his white glove services.
