Our General Meeting Show and Share includes, but is not limited to, Guest Speakers, Trunk Shows, Members sharing their work, Helping Hands Quilts and completed Workshop projects.
A part of the program at our December Meeting is our annual Christmas Luncheon. A huge thank you to Lynne and the entire Hospitality Committee for again providing a delicious lunch.
Bert from Grantham Books is normally a part of our December Meeting. Bert wasn’t able to attend this year due to the weather. We missed him. To the rescue Nancy, our Program Committee Chair, provided an interesting talk about a book – “Making Faces in Fabrics”. Nancy led us through an exercise on how to “place” facial features which can be helpful in our “face” projects. Nancy shared her very interesting pieces of face art quilts.
